Dr. Marianne Johnson

Dr. Marianne Johnson completed her undergraduate education summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University. Then, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. Thereafter, she further pursued her optometric education in a one year residency program with concentration in Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Lexington Kentucky Veteran Affairs Medical Center. She received her certificate through Indiana University. At the conclusion of her residency, she practiced in private practice settings in the Nashville area until the spring of 2019, when she joined Wang Vision Institute. Her special interests include premium intraocular lenses and glaucoma management. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, being outdoors, reading, and quality time with friends and family.
